FAMILY SERVICES

HOME VISITS

In some cases, it makes sense for us to come out to visit you in your home to see how we can be helpful.  Through our home visit, we will be able to get to know you, what supports and services you are seeking, and how we can be most responsive to your family’s specific circumstances.

We do not subscribe to “one size fits all” strategies and value the relationships that we build with each individual family.

Sharing Your Story: A Guide to Medicaid

The “Sharing You Story: A Guide to Medicaid” packet is a user-friendly guide provided by the Boggs Center on Disability and Human Development. It explains what you are hearing on the news and what everyone is talking about on concerns about potential cuts to Medicaid. The Medicaid Advocacy guide is a resource explaining how Medicaid works, understanding threats to Medicaid, and step by step instructions on how to advocate on the topic.

Medicaid provides funding for services that help millions of people with disabilities and their families across the country. The attached guide has information to help you share the lived experiences with policymakers, so they understand the importance of Medicaid and the services it provides to people with disabilities.
